If you're stating that the title song went to number one then "going to the top of the charts" seems redundent. " Place a comma before and after Like a Prayer Consider replacing "released in 1989" to just "(1989)". "Madonna's fourth studio album Like a Prayer released in 1989 gave her another number-one single with the title track, which was the subject of strong reaction from religious groups and media, going to the top of the charts. If you mean the album, True Blue, change it to that but don't hyperlink it this time. It was followed by another number-one single "Who's That Girl" in 1987." What does "it" refer to? You have an album and several singles listed before "it".Are "True Blue" and "La Isla Bonita" the only other top-five hits from the album? If there are more list them as well. "Other singles from the album, namely "True Blue" and "La Isla Bonita" were top-five hits. Also I would suggest: "In 1986 Madonna's third album, True Blue, gave her three number one singles" "Madonna's third album, True Blue, gave her three number one singles in 1986 "Live to Tell", "Papa Don't Preach" and "Open Your Heart"." Change the semi-colon ( ) to a colon(:).Also consider: "both being from motion picture soundtracks." "In 1985, she released her second US number-one single "Crazy for You" and her first UK number-one single "Into the Groove", both being motion picture soundtracks " Change to: "In 1985, she released her second US number-one single, "Crazy for You", and and her first UK number-one single, "Into the Groove", both being motion picture soundtracks" (i.e add commas)."The single became Madonna's first number-one on the Hot 100 and spent six weeks atop the chart" Consider: "at the top of the chart" rather than "atop"."The following year, Madonna released "Like a Virgin", which reached number one in a number of countries." Dump "a number of countries" and actually name which counties the song became number one in." Consider: "Her first entry in the Hot 100. You might also consider changing "failed to" to "did not". "However, the single was failed to enter Billboard Hot 100." Change this to "However, the single failed to enter Billboard's Hot 100 chart" or "However, the single failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart"." (or 1981 or 1983 or whatever year it was that she signed the contract). " but I think it would be better as "In 1982. "In early 1980s, Madonna signed a singles deal with Sire Records" Should be "In the early 1980s.Legolas ( talk 2 me) 06:06, 5 December 2009 (UTC) Resolved comments from Jimknut ( talk) 19:08, 9 December 2009 (UTC) I believe this discography deserves featured list as it is the most complete discography you can find.
